Regulatory Compliance
Texas SB1: Why This Matters
The Mandate
Texas Senate Bill SB1 requires all camps and conference centers to have fully operational emergency public address and alert systems in place by 2026. Non-compliance may result in loss of operating permits.
What It Requires
  • Campus-wide emergency PA coverage
  • Reliable amplification and paging infrastructure
  • Redundant power (battery backup UPS)
  • Centralized control and network integration
  • Weather radio input capability

Lakeview Camp must achieve full SB1 compliance before the 2026 deadline. This proposal addresses required system components across various zones of the campus.
System Design Overview
Campus-Wide Emergency PA Architecture
The 360 AVL Design solution integrates a Q-SYS networked audio platform as the backbone of the entire emergency alert system, connecting five distinct zones across the Lakeview campus into a single, centrally managed system.
Each zone receives dedicated amplification, speaker coverage, and UPS battery backup — ensuring the system remains operational even during power outages. The Main Office serves as the primary control hub for all campus-wide paging and emergency broadcasts.
Featured Product
Q-SYS Networked Paging Station
Main Office Control Hub
The Q-SYS Paging Station with TouchScreen serves as the nerve center of Lakeview's emergency alert system. Network-based control allows staff to broadcast emergency alerts, routine announcements, or weather radio feeds to any zone — or all zones simultaneously — with a single touch.
  • Network-based zone control
  • TouchScreen interface for intuitive operation
  • Integrates weather radio input
  • Supports additional mic inputs
  • Emergency PA ready
